Founding Eng @ Toma
Backed by YC (W24) and a16z (17M Series A). Second engineer to join, and got featured in LA Weekly, IB Times, and Next Play for my work.
I'm a co-founder at Kaaro - the AI workforce for rail.
Before that, I was a founding engineer at
Toma (YC W24), which I dropped out of my first year at
UBC to join.
I grew up in Canada, but now based in SF - if you're around, always down for a badminton rally, a game of smash, or just a coffee :)
What I was up to before Kaaro
Backed by YC (W24) and a16z (17M Series A). Second engineer to join, and got featured in LA Weekly, IB Times, and Next Play for my work.
Won $8k in hackathons, including two first-place wins at university-level hackathons, while still in high school. Won $2k through entrepreneurship competitions, and was youngest-ever and only solo finalist at the IOB UBC Pitch Competition 2025.
Part of VEX Robotics Team 3388A in High School. Made it to World Championships two years in a row, won dozens of local awards, and won excellence (awarded to the top team in the province) in 2024.
Ran a one-week startup sprint competition at UBC called KickStart by UBC BizTech. Led an executive team of 45+ people, with 120+ attendees. Definitely the most fun thing I did in my one year in university :)
